the book we have for class is in english but i printed out spanish copies of a bunch of the stories. generally the translations are very good, though the language is so complex that i should probably carry a dictionary with me!

we were watching this documentary today in psych class about how the media distorts the image of the ideal female body and causes anorexia etc. but i’m sorry i hate it so much when people say oh ‘real women have curves, you’re ugly and skinny and look like a concentration camp prisoner’ because has it maybe ever occurred to you that i’m not anorexic and might dislike...
